Ocean Data Systems, the technology leader in automated reporting and corporate dashboards for industry, announced that Dream Report version 4.64 is now available.

Ocean Data Systems (ODS), the technology leader in automated reporting and corporate dashboards for industry, announced that Dream Report version 4.64 is now available. This release is primarily focused on OEM partner enhancements for Schneider Electric, GE Intelligent Platforms, Mitsubishi and Yokogawa, but it also delivers feature and productivity enhancements to benefit all existing customers.

Partner enhancements are focused on additional connectivity with their products. Version 4.64 changes include UI improvements to pave the way for future web based deployment, and productivity enhancements continuing to improve upon ease of use and report building speed. This release also includes broad support for Historian “Aggregate” functionality in both proprietary drivers and OPC HDA. The aggregate support has been tested with Dream Report “Proven Partners” Kepware and Canary Labs.

Additional features include dynamic image support, delivering the ability to incorporate a variety of pass/fail graphics, and automated image captures in reports and dashboards. New FTP file collection enables Dream Report to collect remote history files and process them, a requirement of many Smart Recorders and Panel HMIs. The Dream Report Web Portal also received a great deal of enhancement. It takes on a modern look and feel, and performance is greatly improved through a new “Power Generator” feature for parallel report processing.

“We work hard to blend requests from our major partners and those of our end users with our own strategic desires,” says Alex Mazal, President of Ocean Data Systems. “Version 4.64 is a valuable stepping stone to our major 4.7 release due out in the coming months. That release will be delivering SPC charts and statistics, multi-lingual support for reports, connectivity to new partners (TBA), Data Models and more.”
