Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group is pleased to announce the launch of their first enclosure/cabinet mounted industrial computer. With an Intel i7 Quad Core processor and eight GB RAM, the new UNO-3483G is designed for applications that need fast processing power in a small cabinet or enclosure such as traffic monitoring or automotive manufacturing.

The UNO-3483G comes with several methods for quick and easy installation, extra I/O ports, and HDDs/SSDs. With Advantech’s new “place-and click snap” kit mounting method, it only takes one person to fit the UNO-3483G into the enclosure or cabinet thereby saving time and manpower. Advantech’s iDoor technology quickly helps users install additional I/O modules to help them with their specific configuration needs. For further quick and easy installation of hard disks or PCIe cards, the UO-3483G comes with captive thumb screws which are easy to undo without getting lost.

For added functionality and versatility, the UNO-3483G has a host of additional features such as: dual power input, a wide temperature operating range (-20 to 60C), IP67 certification, and remote control.

For customers that require all the power that the UNO-3483G provides and still need a monitor, Advantech provides a total solution that includes the UNO-3483G and a Flat Panel Monitor (FPM) which can be installed in an enclosure and controlled from the front.

The UNO-3483G comes with the latest Intel Core i7 2.1 GHz Ivy Bridge Quad Core processor, eight GB DDR3L memory, two hotswap RAID 0/1 HDD/SSDs, two GbE ports, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one VGA port, one DMI 1.4a port, and one audio port.
