Siemens Adds 4” Widescreen HMI to 2nd Generation Mobile Panels

Siemens has expanded its line of 2nd generation HMI Mobile Panels to include the new Simatic HMI KTP400F featuring an easy-to-read and operate 4-inch widescreen display.

Siemens has expanded its line of 2nd generation HMI Mobile Panels to include the new Simatic HMI KTP400F featuring an easy-to-read and operate 4-inch widescreen display.

The wired Mobile Panel offers a fully-dimmable, 16-million-color widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio ensuring clear and detailed images. Features include a unique illuminated emergency stop button, flexible options to integrate into safety applications and a compact connection box that can be directly mounted to the cabinet.

The new IP65 operator panel can be used across a wide range of temperatures (from 0 to 45°C), is dust-tight and resistant to chemicals and offers splash water protection. The Mobile Panel’s rugged industrial construction withstands falls up to 1.2 meters.

The panel offers combined key and touch operation. A new-style editor allows operating screens to be adapted to design requirements at the touch of a button. The KTP400F easily integrates into the automation system via Profinet and configured using the Simatic WinCC engineering tool in the TIA Portal.
