Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group is pleased to announce the launch of the 10.4” PPC-3100S ultra-slim low power fanless touch panel PC that uses the latest Intel® Atom™processor and has an easy to read diagnostic display.

This new PPC has a die-cast aluminum alloy enclosure with IP65 protection ensuring it can be used in tough environments without the fear of water or dust ingress. To aid users, it features a durable LED panel with ELO 5-wire touch screen.

With Intel’s new Atom Quad Core N2930 low power consuming processor, it has four times the graphics performance and a 40% improvement in processing power while saving energy.

To aid diagnostics, this new model employs a unique E-eye, which provides error information in an easy- to-read two-digit code on the rear of the unit. This new feature speeds up diagnostics and ensures that any down-time is reduced.

It features dual GbE LAN for redundancy, two serial ports, and three USB ports to make it easier to satisfy various industrial applications. With a wide range of DC power input support, it will work between 15-24 Vdc and is FCC class B certified while also being compliant with the EMC immunity emission standards of EN55011, 61000-6-2, 61000-6-4 for industrial environments.
