Improved echo tracking, environmental adjustments boost performance of two devices

Measurements made with Endress+Hauser’s Levelflex (GWR - guided wave radar) and Micropilot (free space radar) transmitters are not impacted by changing media, temperatures, gas blankets or vapors. They also provide a multi-echo tracking function eliminating any interference from internal tank fittings, providing users more reliable level measurement in liquids, pastes and slurries.

Both devices are available with a state-of-the-art commissioning wizard that ensures that devices can be easily set-up to collect accurate and reliable measurements in even the most demanding applications. The DTM including the wizard is available for HART, Profibus and FOUNDATION fieldbus (FF) devices. Diagnostics for HART, FF and PROFIBUS specification are also included. The latter allows quick and simple troubleshooting: possible remedies are offered for every diagnostic message in the control system and on the display of the instrument. Trend storage has also been increased to a maximum 1,000 values.
