Guided Wave Radar Level Meter

The 8X00 series guided wave radar level meters are electromagnetic wave ranging systems based on the principle of time travel. The 1GHz low-power electromagnetic wave signal emitted by the instrument probe spreads at the speed of light along the detection component (probe rod or detection cable). When electromagnetic waves come into contact with the surface of the measured substance, they are reflected back due to a sudden change in dielectric constant.
