Cognex Adds DataMan Barcode Readers to Osaro Partners Alliance

The Osaro Partners Alliance, a network offering robot deployment business services, recently saw machine vision system manufacturer Cognex join its ranks, partner publication Control Design reported on Aug. 28.

Alliance members can benefit from Osaro’s pick-and-place vision software to expand their technology portfolios, creating new business opportunities and revenue streams. With Cognex, the alliance gains the company’s DataMan barcode readers.

“Our DataMan barcode-reading solutions can read barcodes in challenging conditions, ensuring that customers can maintain an efficient and accurate robotic pick-and-place process and deliver customer orders on time,” Cognex director of logistics product management Ben Carey said.
