Hammond: Stainless Wall Mount Enclosures
The enclosures are available in 30 sizes, ranging from 24 x 20 x 6 inches to 60 x 36 x 16 inches. They offer excellence corrosion resistance that does not degrade after scratching or other surface damage, with high resistance to chemical attack. Sealed to NEMA 4X (IP66), the units are UV resistant and are stronger and more vandal-proof than GRP alternatives. The enclosures are suitable for housing both electrical equipment and electronic systems. They are designed for installation in harsh industrial environments such as the water industry, oil and gas plants, utilities, mining conveyor belt controls and process control applications. A three-point heavy-duty padlockable handle mechanism gives tight sealing with minimum effort in opening and closing the door. Compared to clamped covers, the locking mechanism is more secure, easier to operate and gives a more even pull-down on to the poured gasket. A formed lip on the continuously welded body channels liquids and dirt away from the opening and a full-length stainless steel hinge ensures repeatable openings and closings without distortion of the door. The removable inner mounting panel can be either painted or galvanized to suit the application. Available accessories include gland plates, passive and active thermal management, drip shields, windows and grounding kits.
