1x1-inch Converter Achieves 20 Watts

Sept. 2, 2010
The Tracopower THN-20(WI) series is the vendor’s latest generation of high-performance dc/dc converter modules offering what is billed as market-leading power density.
The product achieves 20W and comes in a metal case with dimensions of only 1x1x0.4-in. Efficiencies to 90%, power density of 51A/in3, ultra-wide DC input ranges and remote on/off control for no-load operation make the modules well-suited for battery-operated systems. THN-20 converters offer 2:1 input ranges of 9-18/18-36/36-75VDC. THN-20WI models offer a wider 4:1 input range of 9-36/18-75VDC. All models feature: EN 55022 Class A filtration without external components; voltage trim; remote On/Off; 1500VDC Isolation; –40°C to 75°C ambient operating temperature; and an optional heat sink for extended operation up to 85°C. All converters offer International Safety Approvals and are backed by a 3-year warranty. Typical lead time is stock to 8 weeks. Pricing is as low as $27.50 for THN-20 Series and $30.50 for THN-20WI series in OEM quantities.PowerGate LLCwww.powergatellc.com866.588.1750
