Inductive Proximity Sensors featuring a Full Metal Housing

June 11, 2010
Carlo Gavazzi announces the launch of a new family of inductive proximity sensors in full stainless steel housing, including a steel face.

These rugged new sensors provide exceptional levels of protection and reliability for the most demanding of industrial applications, and can withstand abrasions and impacts that would damage plastic faced sensors.

The IAxxF Series are made of 304 stainless steel, along with stainless steel mounting nuts, and offered in the most popular diameter sizes: M8, M12, M18 and M30. The sensors operate on 10-30 VDC, and are available in NPN or PNP configurations, with normally open and normally closed outputs to choose from. They are also offered in flush and non-flush mounting options.

The IAxxF Series sensors are available with your choice of 2 meters of PVC cable, or a convenient quick-disconnect plug. Mating cables are also available, providing for a quick and simple installation. List prices begin at $99. The sensors carry cCSAus and CE approvals, providing you the assurance of high quality and safety. They also come with Carlo Gavazzi's standard 10-year warranty on inductive proximity sensors. They are available from Carlo Gavazzi's North American network of sales offices, distributors or www.GavazziOnline.com.
