Nov. 10, 2009
Hitachi America, Ltd., today announced the release of a new series of NEMA3R and NEMA12 rated panels.

Three tiers of standardized panel design are offered with an assortment of available options. Now, Hitachi can deliver a pre-engineered panel design for almost any application that is available for quick delivery. Models are available from 7.5 hp to 75 hp at 230 VAC, and 7.5 to 150 hp at 460 VAC. Additionally, larger capacity versions are available on a custom basis. Each standard panel includes a Hitachi L300P Series inverter ideally suited for pump, fan or other applications in demanding indoor or outdoor environments. The "Base" model features AC input line reactors; thermostat controlled cooling fans with filters; and convenient terminal for user connection to power, motor and control circuits.

"Standard" models add input power disconnects and fusing, and a second inner door with an inverter digital operator and associated indication lights. A "Standard with Bypass" model adds two-contactor bypass functionalities with a drive/bypass mode selector switch.

Add-on options include surge suppression, output motor reactor, manual disconnect, local-off-remote switch, internal space heaters, and others. The panels are also offered for leg or pole mount.
