Easy-to-use Industrial VPN

Sept. 1, 2009
The Tofino Virtual Private Network (VPN) product line, an addition to the vendor’s Tofino Industrial Security Solution, is designed to extend security beyond plant walls.
The Tofino VPN Server LSM (Loadable Security Module), the Tofino VPN Client LSM and the Tofino VPN Client License are designed to be simple to use and to securely connect facilities and people together over untrusted networks, such as the Internet, by providing secure tunnels for communication. Security for the Tofino VPN is provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Deployment is completed centrally using the Tofino Central Management Platform, and does not require any changes to existing control system network design or addressing. Handling of security components occurs behind the scenes, making set-up a drag-and-drop process. Byres Security Inc.www.tofinosecurity.com250.390.1333
