Vision Appliance Supports GigE Cameras

The IPD VA61 is the vendor’s first Gigabit-Ethernet (GigE)-ready vision appliance, offering an embedded machine vision solution for automated quality inspection applications.
Complete with two expandable GigE camera ports, industrial I/O and a high performance processor, the unit is designed to tackle a range of applications involving multiple monochrome or color GigE cameras. It supports the full range of the vendor’s Genie cameras, from 640x480 to 1600x1200 resolution, with either monochrome or color output. The flexible camera ports allow mixing of resolutions and easy expansion to support multi-camera applications. The unit can power and drive cameras locally via dedicated camera I/O connections or interface with them remotely using Ethernet only. The appliance is available with a choice of software options, including iNspect, an easy-to-use inspection tool for end-users, and Sherlock, an advanced and flexible inspection tool designed for vision integrators and OEMs. Pricing starts at $4,495.Dalsa Corp.www.dalsa.com978.670.2002
