The Simatic Mobile Panel 277F IWLAN is billed as the first wireless
human-machine interface (HMI) to incorporate two enabling buttons and
an emergency stop button into its design that are tested and certified
to meet SIL3 safety standards.
The Mobile Panel 277F IWLAN has a 7.5-inch TFT touch display and 18 LED membrane keys. The rugged panel offers IP 65 protection. The panel’s 6MB of memory can be supplemented by inserting a memory card for archive and recipe data into a multi-media combination slot. Interfaces to connect the panel to a Profinet communications network, as well as a USB interface, are standard.
