300-Watt Power Supplies

June 13, 2007
The latest series in the vendor’s NV family of configurable AC-DC power supplies can supply 300 watts. NV-300 series units measure a compact 3.75 x 7.25 x 1.34 inches—making them compatible with 1U enclosures—and can provide up to four regulated outputs, with a 5- or 12-volt standby output optional.

Output voltages available range from 1.8 to 24V, with currents up to 40 amps. No minimum load current is required on any output. Input voltage ranges from 90 to 265VAC, 45-63Hz with active power factor correction. The NV-300 series meets EN55022 Level B conducted emissions standards with an earth leakage current of just 257 microamps, assisted by a patent-pending noise-canceling transformer. NV-300 series power supplies are priced at $239 each in 100-unit quantities for a four-output configuration.
