Smart, Decentralized Control

April 10, 2007
Billed as the next generation in intelligent decentralized control, Movifit Field Integrated Technology is designed to combine the advantages of decentralized control with the latest in drive application and communication technologies for automotive, food and beverage, and other material handling applications
The modular Movifit series is available in both standard IP65 and hygienic IP69K rated construction, providing a flexible and scalable platform for plant-wide decentralized control in wet and dry environments. Preconfigured control routines for horizontal and vertical conveyor applications provide ready-to-use functions that simplify programming and start-up. They make it easy to engineer solutions using standard conveyor modules. Drive parameters can be set without configuration tools using DIP switches or programmed over fieldbus. Real-time diagnostics for greater equipment availability is enabled through communication networks including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Profisafe, DeviceNet and Profibus.
