Wireless EtherNet/IP Connectivity

Dec. 19, 2006
The MVI56-WA-EIP InRAx Wireless EtherNet/IP Communication Module acts as a wireless bridge, enabling remote connectivity between a ControlLogix processor and 802.11 wireless devices, including PCs, laptops, radio modems such as the vendor’s RadioLinx Industrial Hotspot, and other MVI56-WA-EIP modules.
The MVI56-WA-EIP module allows programming over the backplane and acts as a server to RSLinx, allowing for multiple programs such as RSLogix5000 and/or RSView products to communicate simultaneously with the processor. The MVI56-WA-EIP allows users to interface with remote processors from a car or desktop without ever leaving the seat. Since there is no need to open factory floor equipment cabinets to obtain needed data, the MVI56-WA-EIP provides protection from arc flash incidents.ProSoft Technology Inc.www.prosoft-technology.com661.716.5100
