Temperature Controller Includes EtherNet/IP

Nov. 8, 2006
The Series PD high-performance temperature and process controller now features EtherNet/IP communications, making the Series PD much easier to integrate in machine and process control applications that include Allen-Bradley PLCs.
The Modbus TCP protocol is also included, offering another communications option. The Series PD’s embedded firmware serves Web pages for set-up, monitoring and trending, providing complete access to all the controller’s parameters using a standard Web browser. The Series PD can also deliver remote alarm notifications via e-mail. Available in single- or dual-loop versions, the DIN rail-mounted Series PD controllers offer up to four control/alarm outputs plus up to two digital/current transformer inputs.
