High-Performance SCARA Robot

Oct. 10, 2006
The RS40B is the latest in a series of high-performance assembly and packaging SCARA robots that offer speed, precision and load capacities ranging from 2kg to 5kg and reach of 400mm.
The RS40B SCARA robot features four degrees of freedom, cast iron construction, electric servo-driven motors for reliability, speed and repeatability. Like the vendor’s other robots, the RS40B comes equipped with the PC-based CS8C controller, which is well-suited for applications that require complex process control. The CS8 uses the VAL3 programming language, which is well-adapted to robotics, and features fieldbus, Ethernet and ModBus communication for ease of integration and use.Stäubli Roboticswww.staubli.comPhone:  864.486.5416
