Three new drivers and additional enhancements to the WindO/I-NV2 3.01 programming software enable the vendor’s touchscreens to remotely communicate simultaneously with up to 16 devices in an Ethernet network.
The touchscreens support many major brands of PLCs and more than 100 controllers. With the newly added EtherNet/IP driver, the 10.4-inch and 12.1-inch TFT color LCD touchscreens can control and monitor up to 16 PLCs, including Micrologix, PLC5, SLC500 and ControlLogix. In addition, two new Ethernet networking protocols are available: Modbus TCP/IP 1:N driver and the vendor’s 1:N driver. The WindO/I-NV2 3.01 software also provides enhanced programming features, including a security function and alarm logging. For instance, the security function can now allow several levels to require passwords to increase security when the systemhas multiple users.
