Wireless Industrial Keyboard

April 1, 2006
The DW-860 wireless industrial keyboard incorporates 2.4GHz WirelessUSB technology, allowing up to a 30-foot signal range for use in mobile PC applications.

Because it operates using radio frequency signals, the DW-860 isn’t susceptible to the line of sight issues associated with infrared keyboards. It uses a plug-and-play USB dongle that will even communicate with the keyboard through a metal enclosure, says the vendor. The DW-860 features an integrated 3-button HulaPoint II point device, eliminating the need for an external mouse. Engineered for use in manufacturing, material handling and other harsh environment applications, the compact DW-860 is constructed using a sealed, industrial silicone keypad and robust ABS polycarbonate case.
