The USB-4711 features a 100KS/s 12-bit A/D converter with an on-board 1k sample FIFO buffer. The unit provides a total of up to 16 single-ended A/D input channels, two 12-bit D/A output channels, 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs and one event counter. Featuring a USB 2.0 interface and on-board screw terminals for wiring, the USB-4711 is reliable and rugged enough for industrial applications as well as home projects, says the vendor, and is well-suited for adding measurement and control capability to any computer with a USB port. The USB-4711 has a list price of $545.
