As high performance versions of the vendor’s NetSight II machine vision systems, the NetSight II M systems are form and fit compatible with their predecessors, but include more features and are capable of delivering up to three times the overall performance.
Powered by a 1.6GHz processor with 2MB of local cache and 512MB of high-speed program memory, the NetSight II M systems compare in image processing performance with today’s fastest PC desktop machines, says the vendor. In addition to standard analog and Camera Link interfaces, NetSight II M systems are compatible with the latest camera technologies, including IEEE 1394 and GigE Ethernet. NetSight II M systems are fully supported by the vendor’s Sherlock vision software, and for integrators or machine builders who want to port their own software, the systems come with a library of C++ functions to access the individual hardware components. Available in a variety of configurations, NetSight II M systems start at $2,995.
