As additions to the vendor’s General Purpose relay family, the RJ and RQ series relays offer long operational life and what is billed as the industry’s leading contact rating within their form factor.
The RJ relay features operational life of 200,000 cycles at full AC resistive load. Both the RJ and RQ series have contact ratings of 12A, 1 Form C (SPDT) and 8A, 2 Form C (DPDT). In addition, the RQ series is offered in a high-capacity 16A, 1 Form C (SPDT) model. The RJ relay offers an optional green, non-polarized LED to provide enhanced visibility of power status, and when used with its corresponding SJ socket, provides a compact profile of 15.5mm total DIN width—a 30 percent reduction compared to standard 2-pole relays. The low-profile RQ relay uses industry standard 3.5mm and 5mm pin terminal separation for printed circuit board applications, and is only 15.6mm high, 12.6mm wide and 29mm deep.
