Process Simulation

April 1, 2005
UniSim is a family of simulation software and engineering services designed to improve performance throughout the lifecycle of a processing plant.

With UniSim, process manufacturers can design and test new processes offline and train employees prior to implementing the process. Once the new process is online, UniSim supports process control and optimization, performance monitoring, and business planning. As part of the UniSim offering, the vendor has created a dedicated team that provides advanced engineering services to enhance plant performance through simulation. The UniSim solution is built from robust simulation technologies include the vendor’s Hyprotech modeling software, Shadow Plant simulation software and the OTISS process simulator. UniSim extends the capabilities of the vendor’s Experion Process Knowledge System and can also integrate with other vendors’ systems.
