Multiple Images Simultaneously

Feb. 1, 2005
The NetSight II DCL is a Camera Link version of the vendor’s NetSight II machine vision system that can process multiple image views simultaneously.

Designed for applications that require line or area scan digital cameras, NetSight II DCL allows users to match the image of their choice to their inspection needs. NetSight II DCL provides asynchronous acquisition of images from up to two Camera Link cameras and one FireWire camera using an IEEE 1394 port. The system is equipped with a high-performance processor, 256MB of program memory, 20GB of storage memory and programmable digital I/O. Built-in Ethernet connectivity and compatibility with such industry protocols as EtherNet/IP and Modbus makes it easy to integrate NetSight II DCL into existing factory and/or enterprise networks, says the vendor. NetSight II DCL uses the vendor’s Sherlock vision software as its interface. Offered as a bundled machine vision system or as a vision engine component to a custom design, NetSight II DCL is priced starting at $3,995.
