The Cabtite Easy Entry System is an on-panel via for pre-manufactured cables and wire bundles or pipes. Cabtite enables panel builders to avoid splicing pre-wired cables—necessary with standard methods such as conduit, cable glands and heavy duty connectors—and instead provides an easily configured, snap-in-place connection for functions such as displays, alarms or computer equipment.
Made of a modular grommet carrier system, Cabtite consists of four primary components: KEL Frame, an easy-to-install snap-in frame that accommodates multiple grommets; KEL-Snap, a panel-mounted base that can be pre-installed on panel to accommodate field wiring on modular installations; KVT split cable gland that accommodates either one large or four small grommets, eliminating wasted space when only one or two connections are needed; and grommets that fit a wide range of products.
