SCADA for Upward Compatibility

Oct. 1, 2004
Monitor Pro v7.2 is scalable SCADA software that is based on a set of widely accepted industry standard technologies, including ActiveX, COM/DCOM, OPC and Microsoft Visual Basic, and is compatible with Windows 2000 and XP.

A built-in graphic interface provides a complete library of graphic objects that can be easily customized, while the Configuration Explorer offers an intuitive environment that enables object oriented configuration. DOC Auto and On-Line Configuration reduce application development time and maintenance. Applications are stored on the Monitor Pro servers, but can be developed and maintained from any client in the system. Monitor Pro v7.2 features a multi-tier architecture that is inherently scalable. Small applications can exist on a single computer, while large applications running across multiple servers can provide information to hundreds of users and process millions of data points. The architecture of Monitor Pro makes it easy to distribute information to higher-level business systems, says the vendor.
