Designed for light-load applications in which minimal friction drag, long-wear life and low cost are the primary concerns, the LR Series linear rail system is well-suited for tasks including general purpose positioning in pick and place equipment, general and electronic assembly and dispensing systems.
The LR Series consists of a centerless ground and burnished stainless-steel shaft mated with a graphite- and PTFE-filled thermoplastic bushing, formulated so that thermal fluctuations have minimal effect on system performance. Available with or without TFE coating, the LR Series requires no lubrication or maintenance, the vendor says. The LR Series features a standard shaft straightness of 0.002 inch per foot.
