Powerful graphics for custom libraries and new objects such as PID loops and conveyors are among features added to version 2.0 of Telemecanique Vijeo Look, an entry-level SCADA system for small and medium-sized applications.
Other new capabilities include historical and real-time trending, extensive data logging, user-friendly alarming and simplified communication. Vijeo Look version 2.0 does not require advanced redundancy or communication with other HMI/SCADA solutions. Easy-to-use database management tools provide tasks such as database size limitation, age limitation, purging and archiving capabilities. Standardized tools such as Wizards and Eye-driven controls help develop customized applications. For experienced high-level SCADA application engineers, version 2.0 comes with Microsoft VBA, Active X controls and a Java bean library for enhanced graphical manipulation.
