With a modular, scalable design, drive-integrated PLC and built-in safety functionality, the IndraDrive M is a complete, intelligent solution, says the vendor.
The digital drive system is available with integrated safety technology that complies with EN 954-1, category 3, meaning that no additional hardware or indirect control solutions are required. The IndraDrive M incorporates the vendor’s servo-drive and frequency-converter technology into one platform. With an optional, drive-integrated IEC61131-3-compliant PLC onboard, the drive eliminates the need for a traditional PLC on small machines. The integrated PLCV provides programming and parameterization through a single interface. All standard communication protocols are supported, including Sercos, Profibus, CANopen, DeviceNet and Interbus. The drive units, available as servo or vector, cover the output spectrum from 1.5 to 120kW.
