Control Panels with PLC Functions

Feb. 1, 2004
Windows CE-based Control Panels combine the functions of a PLC and an operator panel in one compact unit. Bridging the gap between PCs and traditional PLCs, the Control Panels are well suited for applications that do not require the high-end performance of a PC but still have a need for comprehensive display of vital machine information.

Featuring 48MB of program memory and a dual-processor design for the control/HMI and the I/O handling, the CP3xxT-Studio-IB line is available in 6-inch (CP306), 10-inch (CP310) and 12-inch (CP312) screen sizes. The units offer bright TFT color touch screens, a built-in device level master and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port for networking. Object oriented control software, through Entivity’s Studio flowchart software, and the use of common OPC tag database allow fast program development. Complete graphics and HMI visualization is based on Iconics PanelWorX software.
