Web Services Added

Jan. 1, 2004
CATSWeb Web Services, an implementation of XML Web Services technology, is now available for the CATSWeb Enterprise Quality Tracking System.

CATSWeb is a real-time automated quality system that is designed to track and manage issues and actions. It is a Zero Client application that can be accessed through an Internet or intranet connection from any computer, running any operating system and Web browser. CATSWeb Web Services provides interfaces for both Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) and Microsoft .NET, to extend CATSWeb’s client-side platform independence to server-side customization and system integration. Web Service schema definitions adapt to a user’s form and workflow designs, and are compatible with BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft BizTalk and Sun iPlanet. Typical applications include: assisted data entry, custom business rules and validation routines, data lookups and calculations, and drill down links to context-sensitive information.
