The QTERM-G70 graphics terminal now offers Power-over-Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af). The technology combines power and data on the same CAT5 Ethernet cable, allowing users to replace older proprietary power sources and eliminating the need to run 115 VAC power to devices on a wired LAN.
The QTERM-G70 is an Ethernet-enabled graphics terminal that uses an object-based graphic terminal programming language called Qlarity (pronounced Clarity). The terminal features industrial-grade hardware and options, including a 320x240 lighted graphics LCD display (color or grayscale); 10Base-T Ethernet with TCP/IP support; touch screen with optional PS/2 keyboard connection; EIA-232, -422 or -485 serial interface; and 4 Mbytes Flash/16 Mbytes RAM in a NEMA 4, CE-certified housing.
