The IK-SX1 industrial camera relies on an advanced 2/3-inch progressive scan CCD for use in machine vision applications such as bar code reading, online inspection, gauging and character recognition.
Two versions are available, offering either CameraLink 8-bit digital output or LVDS (RS-644) 8-bit digital output. The IK-SX1 delivers full-resolution frame rates of up to 15 frames per second with 1.4 million effective picture elements (1392-by-1040), so it can accurately capture images of fast-moving objects, even in low light, the vendor says. A one-pulse random trigger function allows high-resolution capture of an object at a desired timing for immediate processing. An eight-step electronic shutter provides 1/15 to 1/50,000-sec. shutter speeds. The IK-SX1 measures 1.73-by-1.73-by 2.05 inches and weighs 4.77 ounces.
