Move with Precision

Dec. 1, 2003
Modular in design, ServoMove Systems provide precise repetitive motion operations on the assembly line and other applications involving robotics and automation, says the vendor.

ServoMove Systems consist of Operator Interface (CAOP), programmable logic controller and local I/O module. The CAOP is compatible with most PLCs and can control up to four of the vendor’s CASI 40 servo actuators, and can accommodate an unlimited number of submasters. The ServoMove System communicates directly with a CANopen bus between CAOP and actuators. The CASI 40 actuators are equipped with integrated electronics and Hall sensors for electronic commutation. Stroke up to 700mm, force up to 5200N and speed up to 650mm/sec can be achieved.
