Inspection-Ready for Labels

Aug. 1, 2003
Designed as a task-specific machine vision appliance, iLabel checks the placement and quality of labels on bottles, boxes, cans and other packaged goods.

“Vision appliances are prepackaged machine vision solutions that incorporate everything users need to perform a specific inspection task in a rugged, compact enclosure with a simple user interface,” says Steve Geraghty, director for the vendor. iLabel includes a sequence of interface screens that guide users through the steps needed to set up an inspection task, including defining parameters for acceptable label positions and angles. In operation, iLabel can inspect 300 labels per minute, ranging from 1 inch to more than 10 inches in size.
