Machine Performance Software

Oct. 12, 2010
The new IndraDrive Producitvity Agent uses intelligent IndraDrive units as sensors to monitor the status of axis mechanics. The software analyzes those data points via the drive-integrated motion logic and translates it into actionable information.
The new software provides the ability to maintain equipment as mechanical conditions warrant, ensures that the precision of axes are maximized and pushes lower energy consumption for equipment running at optimum effectiveness. The new tool can notify a user of wear problems if defined tolerance thresholds are exceeded and these can be determined by users. And retrofitting is also an option. Other highlights include an active vibration damping and counteracting function in addition to the diagnostics. The enhanced software is targeted at a range of automation applications, including food & packaging systems, machine tools, plastics, material handling and logistics, seminconductor and micro machining.
