The RX3i CPU315 is the latest addition to GE's family of PACSystems. With an Intel M class 1Ghz processor and 20Mbytes of user memory available, the new controller takes aim at control applications where large amounts of data and application optimization are needed.

Suited for Water/Wasterwater, power and process control, the portable control engine for this PAC family offers solid performance on several different platforms, delivering solutions for both OEMs and end-users, GE adds.

The PAC line supports IEC languages, such as Ladder Diagram, Instruction List, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, SFC and C programming. Other features include two serial ports (RS-485 and RS-232), 20Mbytes of batter-backed user memory and 20Mbytes of non-volatile flasher user memory, supports up to 512 program blocks, and auto-located symbolic variables that can use any amount of user memory.
