Tiancheng Paper Chooses New Manufacturing Software for Pulp Control

GE Intelligent Platforms today announced that Tiancheng Paper Company, a subsidiary of Guangxi State Farms Sugar Group companies, has chosen GE’s breakthrough DCS, Proficy® Process Systems, for all plant equipment interlock and data acquisition.
Located in Laibin City, China, Taincheng Paper has an annual output of 95,000 tons of bleached pulp. They chose Proficy Process Systems as part of a full plant automation designed to improve production efficiency, operator efficiency and asset optimization.

With Proficy Process Systems, GE Intelligent Platforms provides an advanced DCS that delivers the power and effectiveness of adistributed control system with unmatched flexibility, openness and price affordability. With the Proficy software layer inherently architected into the process control system, optimization and analytics, and production management are simply layered on.
