Advantech Sells Their One Millionth Remote I/O Module

March 3, 2011
Advantech, a global leader in eAutomation, is celebrating the milestone of reaching one million ADAM Remote I/O modules sold globally.

Advantech celebrated this occasion with special events, promotions, and an award presentation to one of our largest distributors in North America, B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company, Inc. for purchasing the one millionth ADAM Remote I/O module, the ADAM-6024-AE, a 12-channel universal I/O module.

Founded in 1992, Advantech's ADAM Remote I/O Modules have been a consistent and reliable figure in the industrial automation field. From the early RS-485-based ADAM-4000 series to the more recent Ethernet-based ADAM-6000 I/O series, Advantech's research & development teams have constantly been analyzing and improving the ADAM series with applied technology more advanced than its competitors. Whether dealing with large or small systems, Advantech's ADAM Remote I/O Modules can usually be found embedded somewhere as an integral keystone. These I/O modules support much larger interconnected systems with reliable functions and strong features.

Brad Swanlund, Assistant Product Manager at B&B Electronics says, "Congratulations to Advantech on reaching a very impressive milestone. The ADAM modules are very versatile and provide a lot of value which is why they sell so well." Linda Cochran, Marketing Merchandise Manager, says "Congratulations, Advantech, on your success! The ADAM products are, indeed, one in million."

Don Wieneck, CEO and President of B&B Electronics sum it up by saying "I quote the great Vince Lombardi who once said, 'The achievements of an organization are the results of the combined efforts of each individual'. And, we have witnessed that success in the Advantech product lines. Congratulations Advantech!"
