New Services Model Offers Range of Services

Nov. 2, 2009
Toolingu.com, a Cleveland-based provider of online manufacturing training, has recently added a range of services to help companies succeed with their training programs.

These services have been designed to work in conjunction with Toolingu.com's web-based training but are also customizable to the specific needs of each company.

Toolingu.com's services are divided into four different options: core services, optimization services, managed services and comprehensive services. Core services are designed to ensure a smooth kickoff of a training program, with curriculum and account setup, internal marketing, and student training. The optimization service assists existing Toolingu.com customers by maximizing usage of their training. The managed service helps companies monitor student usage, resolve any technical issues, and report the results of the training program.

The most detailed service option is the comprehensive services option. According to Jim Kasperik, Director of Services for Toolingu.com, there's a lot of research out there that shows about 70% of companies have training programs that fail after the purchase. Our comprehensive services are designed to avoid this risk by helping companies with better planning and early adoption, and also the right follow-up actions after the training.  Kasperik added that the comprehensive services option includes an initial investigation stage and development of a business case, along with ongoing support after training.

Toolingu.com is the leading provider of web-based training content for manufacturers, with training packages for machinists, maintenance professionals, welders, and assemblers. Toolingu.com's customers consist of Fortune 500 manufacturers, small job shops, distribution companies and educational institutions.
