De-Sta-Co Acquires IMC

With the deal, the robotic tooling, workholding and flexible automation supplier adds new motion control products to its solutions mix.

De-Sta-Co, an Auburn Hills, Mich.-based provider of robotic tooling, workholding and flexible industrial automation solutions, recently announced the acquisition of Industrial Motion Control, LLC (IMC). Headquartered in Wheeling, Ill., with additional facilities in Belgium and China, IMC serves a global customer base and boasts annual revenues of $50 million.

IMC is the manufacturer of Camco and Ferguson mechanical motion control products, specializing in cam-actuated index drives, parts handlers, in-line conveyors and custom cams. Serving a wide variety of industries ranging from paper conversion and packaging to medical and pharmaceuticals, IMC has developed a reputation in the market for high load, high speed and high accuracy industrial automation applications.
