Free, expedited test and evaluation process helps machine builders apply the best safety product for a given application.

Omron Scientific Technologies, Inc. (www.sti.com), a Fremont, Calif. maker of automation safety products and services, introduces the OEM Partnership Program, which enables an expedited test and evaluation process for applying the best safety product for a given application.

“Machine designers often spend a fair amount of time tracking down the right test and evaluation unit, filling out paperwork, waiting for credit reports, and hoping for favorable test results,” says Tony Canonaco, Vice President, Sales, Omron STI. “Omron STI can expedite the entire test and evaluation process by getting the best safety product for an application into the engineer's hands for evaluation fast and free—all with a simple phone call or email.”

Program partners will also benefit from the assistance of a local Omron STI Area Sales Engineer, as well as factory-based application engineering and product management teams, who are trained to help OEMs understand and comply with all relevant standards for machine safety.

Separately, the company offers the 2011-2012 Product Selection Guide to Machine and Process Safeguarding. This covers the company's  family of machine and process safety solutions and highlights Omron STI's Safety Library, which provides access to educational resource material.
