Advantech Introduces 21” Widescreen Multi-Touch Flat Panel Monitor

Advantech’s Industrial Automation Group is pleased to announce the release of the FPM-7211W, a 21” widescreen multi-touch flat panel monitor specifically designed to provide easier operation and boost productivity in manufacturing control environments, building automation, and other HMI applications.

The FPM-7211W features a widescreen ratio of 16:9, providing 40% more screen area than traditional 4:3 aspect ratio displays. Resolution is full HD (1920 x 1080).  Furthermore, with the addition of four-finger multi-touch capabilities it provides even greater control and viewing of the information displayed such as zoom, slides, twist, etc.

Other features include: RS-232 & USB dual touch interface, VGA & DVI-D dual video input port, 0 to 50°C operating temperature, and IP65 front panel.  The panel glass is hardened to 7H on the Mohs scale, which is the same hardness as the mineral quartz.

As with all Advantech flat-panel monitors, the FPM-7211W can be mounted on panels, on walls, or by a stand using the VESA hole behind the unit; providing a range of options for any industrial environment.
