Newest member of the SP5000 Smart Portal Series, the display offers the same machine performance; production management and predictive maintenance utilizing operation data as the rest of the family, plus built-in wireless LAN compatible with IEEE802.11b/IEEE802.11g/IEEE802.11n and a transmission distance of up to 30 meters. Wireless LAN benefits include easy debugging anywhere, reduced need for cables to connect devices to the network, management using remote management software through tablets and smart phones, and compatibility with control networks thanks to a wireless IP address. This display is compatible with the company's SP5B40 Open Box rear module which allows the user to run a variety of Windows applications on WES7 and comes standard with the company's HMI Runtime. The unit has Type A and mini-B USB 2.0 connectors, runs on 12 to 24 VDC power and has an ambient temperature rating of 0 to 60 ºC (-4 to 140 ºF).
