This follows the company's recent announcement of 4G LTE multi-carrier cellular support for major North American carriers. The addition of global 4G LTE network support enables users to easily connect, monitor and control high-bandwidth applications in markets including oil and gas, water/wastewater, factory automation, utility and transportation. As manufacturing and industrial organizations continue to migrate from fixed legacy infrastructures to scalable high- performance networks, comprehensive solutions are needed to serve as the critical communication platform between facilities and equipment in disparate locations. With 4G LTE support for multiple North American carriers in each unit, users can easily select and switch between wireless carriers to alleviate varying cellular coverage or bandwidth issues without having to replace equipment. In addition, a built-in event engine can trigger I/O or send SMS text messages based on real-time data to provide automation engineers, technicians, production managers and network operators local control and real-time remote monitoring of field-deployed assets.
