By allowing direct resetting of faults, the HMIs save time and effort in troubleshooting and quickly return lines to production. They provide flexible data access to a variety of devices and enable operators to reach the devices on the network including special I/O units, intelligent devices, and PLCs. Features include a large, easy-to-view touchscreen (7.68 x 5.59 x 2.13 for the NSS and 12.40 x 9.49 x 1.90 inches for the NS12), Ethernet communications, live video input/display capabilities (NS12), alarming/recipe/data logging, ladder program monitoring (NS12) and an integrated simulation function. A device monitor function that enables monitoring the PLC I/O data required for device maintenance and debugging is included as a standard feature. Ladder monitor makes it possible to monitor PLC program status, search for addresses or instructions, monitor multiple I/O points, and much more. It only takes about 5 seconds to switch from a user screen to the ladder program monitoring screen.
