CC-Link IE is an Ethernet-based gigabit network for industrial automation suitable for applications in multiple industries and gives the benefits of distributed modular architecture. The distributed architecture of the new I/O blocks use IO-Link to enhance the controls architecture while integrating smart devices into the architecture. CC-Link IE Field combined with the company’s IO-Link. This provides for a resilient network for devices including discrete and analog I/O, smart sensors, RFID, Vision and more. Available modules include the BNI0094 16 PNP input-only field block; the BNI008T 16 NPN input-only field block; the BNI0095 Configurable Field block with 16 inputs and 16 PNP outputs; and the BNI008C eight-port IO-Link Master with eight IO-Link ports, 16 inputs and 16 PNP outputs. With its IP67 protection rating, the network blocks make it possible to seamlessly connect sensors, actuators or smart IO-Link devices with standard M12 sensor cables, reducing complexity and cost for special devices and cables.
