Features of the relay family include timer functions including On/Off-delay, time bypass and time reset. On/Off delay postpones activation/deactivation of safety outputs with a preset time delay for such functions as Category 1 stops. Time bypass activates safety outputs for maximum pre-defined times when safety inputs are closed, such as with inching. Time reset activates safety outputs for a maximum predefined time when the safety inputs are opened, such as with pre-set. Accuracy of better than 1 percent in setting precise times fosters greater safety and reduced downtime. The multi-reset function will reset up to ten relays with one reset light button. The light button will light “On” when at least one of the safety circuits is open; it will “Flash” when a reset is necessary; and it will be “Off” when all safety circuits are closed. Configurable models with a display offer a choice between preset and custom configurations that can be password protected. The display indicates internal, input/output, system or function faults, as well as a log of the last ten errors.
